About Us

Regarding Kitchens, owned by Beverly and Bruce Gilbert, opened twelve years ago in south Kansas City and introduced the Kansas City area to a new and exciting showroom concept. Soon after, Regarding Kitchens acquired Overland Park Appliance and opened a brand new showroom in Parkville. In 2004 the fabulous new Lenexa showroom/design center was completed and all operations were consolidated with everything under one roof–homeowners may view examples of appliances, cabinetry, countertops and accessories actually installed, thus giving a better feel for the way their own home could look.

Originally a piano performance major, Beverly began remodeling kitchens and bathrooms in addition to teaching piano lessons after college. Once she began winning national remodeling awards, designing kitchens and baths became a full-time occupation. Bruce, as general manager, handles the logistics of the business and runs marathons in his spare time.
